Its amazing how people have been selling Inkscape and GIMP on eBay and people are buying it...instead of just doing a search and finding it for...free.
  2. font management questions

When I used Flexi, Suitecase never had an auto activation plug-in module for it. It is much too proprietary for them to worry about. They had all the Adobe products covered, Corel, Microsoft Office, Quark and a few others. You may want to take a look into FontExpert if you are running a PC. That...
  3. font management questions

    1. What fonts can you NOT do without? Adobe FontFolio 11, Umbrella Type Collection, House Industries Collection, Monotype Library OpenType Edition -- several thousands in font licensing so I couldn't imagine not having them any more. 2. How many type faces do you use regularly? I try not...
  4. Will this work for a workstation ???

Photoshop CS3 requires a minimum of 512megs and Illustrator does as well. If you are doing a design running these both simultaneously you are up to a gig right there. Take into account your operating system and any additional background processes and 2 gigs looks like the minimum you should be...
  5. Nonstop viruses, can't get rid of them?

Another thing to keep in mind too is to disconnect any USB travel drives/thumbdrives. Several newer malware/trojans infect connected external drives now since they are usually left out of the system scans unless you check them off as well. So they elude the system scan and then reinfect the...
  6. Nonstop viruses, can't get rid of them?

Unplug the comp from the internet and disable the wireless. Reboot it in safemode and try doing all the scans that way. There is a good chance you are missing something and it is just reconnecting to a server and re-downloading all the crap back onto the computer again, with no internet...

  13. Dual Boot?

Just curious to see if you tried running anything in the Compatibility Mode before you go through all this hassle.
  14. Dual Boot?

It is a possible solution, however you are most likely going to run into hardware issues. There hasn't been support since July 06 for Windows 98SE so you might want to check every piece of hardware in the computer to make sure you can run it.

Open up your PANTONE palette, drag the first color into the slider on the gradient palette and then drag the second PANTONE color into the second slider box.
  19. Self-Healing Cutting Mat - Does side matter?

We use the shiny side sometimes after the matte side is all chewed up (it really isn't as self-healing as it should be lol). As for the grid, that came on a seperate sheet of styrene that we lay underneath the cutting mat so it was never an issue.
