If thats the case then I need to get on the horn with them ASAP because I paid $149 for 6 Regular fonts and $99 for 3 premium fonts back in November and they are useless to me.
Gonna have to disagree with you Bob, if you have bought their new fonts, you receive an installer that does not install them in your system fonts directory. They made an entire page on their site dedicated to this new OpenType Flavor format. Its not a standard OpenType because it does not...
Yep, its unfortunate. I really hope no one else decides to use this...genius...idea because the next thing you know your system resources are going through the roof all because of fonts. Thank god there is still A&S and SignDNA fonts though.
The way I see it is...what happens when everyone tries doing this?...you got 20,000+ fonts in your memory and not your HD? just not sure how this is gonna work. Not for nothin, but a DRM protection like this could not have been a short nor cheap process so what happens when someone decides they...
They are OpenType fonts, but they cannot be physically installed on your system. They get activated when you double click the installer but do not reside in your system fonts folder nor any other folder accessible to you on your computer. Thats what that Notice sign on the right hand side of the...
No problems, just make sure all of your software is compatible with their new download format. You aren't downloading fonts anymore that you put in your fonts folder nor can you manage them with a font manager, they reside in your systems memory and not physically on the hard drive making it a...
I dunno if that was clipart, it looks airbrushed. I am sure you could find similar, but that looks like an airbrushed fireman shirt like you would see at their fund raisers or parades.
There have been hundreds of weather tests preformed by Avery/3M/Oracal to see what causes material failures and it has been shown that without proper outgassing, you could be subjected to failures. This doesn't mean you will, but is waiting that extra 12-24 hours going to kill you? (aside from...
Check here, its always the first place I would look for racing fonts. Careful with the licensing on there though, they aren't all freebies for commercial use.
SAMS - Teach Yourself Illustrator in 24 hrs is a good start. Personally I think you would benefit more from an annual Lynda.com subscription. Peachpit and O'Reilly make some good books as well but nothing beats Lynda's price for the video guides because you can download the project files and...
The closest I can think of for that second one is Canada Type's Jazz Gothic. You need to use a capital H and capital I and a lowercase E and M. This looks like the font, but the M needs a slight tweak. Sorry, cannot think of any other similar ones.
Skinny is another one that has similar features, not the same as the jerseys but it has the same lines and such.
Macrame by Blue Vinyl is another one that also looks like the one used on the jerseys, but its a commercial pay font as well.
this thread needs to just go away...its obvious the OP has lost interest since he hasn't logged in since the day after he joined or made a single comment after the original post.
