  1. How would YOU wrap this?

Not quite done yet, but started on the wing today. Did the adjustable foil in the middle in 2 parts, top and bottom with a overlap about 2-3 inches in from front and rear on the underside. Overlap itself is about 5mm, used wrapcut tape to cut the vinyl. Side parts are done in several pieces...
  2. New @ Wrapping

Welcome! You have everything in place to wrap, but you are outsourcing printing and installing. So basically you have a roll of wrapping vinyl for the 3-4 cars? and some tools for the installer? Minus possibly the vinyl if printed wraps are what you are basing the wrapping business on? Just...
  3. oh paypal

When you transfer money from your paypal to your bank account it usually takes 1 day, sometimes 2, have yet to have seen 3-4 days. If you do not have any immediate liquidity issues, 1-2 days transfer time (with no charge from paypal) from your paypal to your checking account really should not...
  4. Wrap Videos

Me too! :) I friend of mine owns this garage, and I got to use the lift for a day when the shop was closed for easter now. It is such a great help when both wrapping and lettering cars.
  5. Wrap Videos

I just ordered these today, I went for the super combo pack. Free shipping sounds even sweeter when I am located in Norway :) Wrapping classes are few and far between over here, and I do have some limited (8-10 full wraps) self-taught experience, so hopefully these dvds will learn me some...
  6. Can you wrap this?

Luckily concept cars normally do not show up at your shop, so rest easy. But another question, how would you tint that windshield/glass roof? :D Wrapping it would be a breeze compared to that, hehe..
  7. Upgrading from Flexistarter 8.6v2 to Flexistarter 10, worthwhile?

Today I received my copy of Flexistarter 10 that I ordered from Cibersupply, looking forward to getting my print+cut setup working. Just wanted to thank Bobby at Cibersupply for the help with verifying that the program does what I needed it to, and great service after placing an order for the...
  8. Thanks a LOT,,NOT

I read the other thread yesterday when there was just the original post and 1 reply, and I can only gather from the original post in this thread that has been deleted because of comments based on religion, even if the thread only stated that the day mentioned is a reminder from now on from the...
  9. How would YOU wrap this?

I will see how I attact this. The wing is basically two "layers", with an adjustable top part, and air intakes on the lower part. It is also seamlessy bonded (or maybe molded in 1 part) to the rear lid. Will be an interesting challenge :) Car is almost done apart from bumpers, side skirts and...
  10. How would YOU wrap this?

Porsche rear wing that is. I wrapping a Porsche 996 GT3 mkI now, pretty much done with it apart from the bumpers and rear wing. Bumpers are a breeze but the shape of the rear wing is a bit of a challenge. I have plenty of time since the owner just left for a two week RV holiday driving through...

  12. Anyone wrapped a Ford Transit?

It is very likely a Transit Connect (also easy to work with). Keep in mind that this is a much smaller car than a Sprinter van, it is not much larger than a PT Cruiser or Chevrolet HHR.
  13. Anyone wrapped a Ford Transit?

I've done a few partial wraps on Transits (full coverage from right behind the doors and back), and they are very nice vehicles to work with. Very flat panels with shallow profiles. One of the easier commercial vans to work with in my opinion. Edit; do you even get the full size Transits over...
  14. Big Squeegee a HUGE Help!

Just picked up my 32" Big Squeegee at the local post office, looks great! And the refund almost covered the Norwegian 25% sales tax (on product+shipping costs) and customs fees, very pleased with that. :thankyou:
  15. best for vehicle graphics

The layout and design choices kind of reminds me of this website: http://www.arngren.net/
  16. best for vehicle graphics

I have a hunch that the Pat from Pat's Home Improvement is the same Pat as the user (and threadstarter) wisconsinpat?
  17. Upgrading from Flexistarter 8.6v2 to Flexistarter 10, worthwhile?

Payment for flexistarter 10.5 and shipping to Norway sent! I have also found a range of ebay sellers selling this software, with an auction with a starting price in the $110-120 range, but the Buy Now price is $395. I'm guessing the reserve is set close to retail price also, so a $110 bid does...
  18. Upgrading from Flexistarter 8.6v2 to Flexistarter 10, worthwhile?

Thanks, that looks great! You have my email now (the one I sent my sample file from), if you can have a copy of Flexistarter 10 shipped to Norway, just send me a mail about what information you need from me in order to arrange what is needed. :thankyou:
  19. It's official. I hate dongles

That dongleservice site kind of reminds me of this image:
  20. Upgrading from Flexistarter 8.6v2 to Flexistarter 10, worthwhile?

No problem using copy and paste within the actual workspace, as long as I can make for example 30 rows of 10 printed decals to make 300 copies, send that file to the Epson Stylus Pro with registration marks, print, laminate and load the sheet into the GX-24 to make the contour cuts using the...
