  1. Window Perf on HP L25500

I've found the same thing, our one-way vision prints brilliantly on the latex but it's a PITA to load. It usually takes 2-5 loads before it'll realise it can't be detected and asks for the width.
  2. Need to outgas?????

We did experience failures with wraps and one-way visions when not allowed to degas sufficiently, we don't take our chances with those (not a problem any more with our latex).
  3. Ordered Caldera Today

I think what I'm missing is a program that actually works, see http://www.signs101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100770
  4. Construction of a 20m x 8m sign.

Don't forget: - Impact assessable development application - Soil test, surveying, engineering plans - Engineering certification for welds - Council assessment
  5. Photoprint is driving me crazy!

Our HP supplier provided Photoprint as their workflow solution when I bought an FB500 and L26500 to complement my Roland XC540s (actually they installed SAI Pixelblaster first but that was abysmal). When I had problems with Pixelblaster I was about to pull the trigger on Caldera but our...
  6. Hp l26500

    You'll love it!
  7. Anyone using the Arlon 6000 series?

We've used the usual equivalents from 3M and Avery but we prefer the Arlon. It does have a high tack so needs some effort in repositioning but it conforms (and stays) in deep recesses better than the competition. The ink limit was much higher than Avery 1005 as well. It needs to be post-heated...
  8. Any NEW Roland Users?

I've got both and I wouldn't even consider printing a wrap on the Roland when the HP offers so many advantages (better print quality, no degassing, easier installation, unattended printing, lower ink costs). I dismissed latex for years because it all seemed to hard, in reality it just makes...
  9. VersaWorks multiple/copy printing?

Use the CustomCUT feature, set up the sheet size as being just longer than each copy, it'll then print each one with crops. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YUn-YOAfMM
  10. Talk about Avery Film

No love for the Arlon DPF 6000XRP? We've used 3M IJ180CV3 in the past and Avery 1005EZRS more recently but have gone back to Arlon that we were using before that. It conforms to deep recesses very well unlike the 3M and it has a much higher ink limit unlike the Avery. Not many Oracal suppliers...
  11. VersaWorks multiple/copy printing?

Are they all the same size?
  12. Estimate Software

We used Estimate for 18 months and it was a great step from having no system, but eventually we outgrew the Estimate capabilities and stepped up to Signvox 3 months ago which has been great. With 10 employees it worked out cheaper than Estimate, we love having the ability to access it anywhere...
  13. L26500, this many problems?

I've been having a similar problem, but to a lesser extent. I had 3 Y-K heads go in 2 weeks with pretty low volumes of printing, 2 in 2 days which caused me to cease printing as my replacement hadn't arrived. My supplier's tech came today to replace a board, cables and drop detector. Fingers...
  14. Ordered Caldera Today

I didn't end up with Caldera in the end, my HP supplier swapped out Pixelblaster for PhotoPrint at no cost. It goes alright I spose, easy enough to run and it seems to have all the functions I need, the few that it doesn't SAI is working on patches for. Not sure what I'm missing compared with...
  15. FB700 Full Bleed Printing

I had problems with this part of the procedure:  Set negative left and top margins: -0.125 inch (-3 mm).  Set positive right and bottom margins: 0.125 inch (3 mm). With the positive right and trailing margins it just stopped printing short of the edge. I had success printing today with...
  16. Large graphic pricing

I don't use much anti-graffiti but I get around $9000+GST, excluding installation, as well.
  17. don't beat me up too bad

Needs more comic sans. Or this.
  18. Ordered Caldera Today

Congrats, I'm literally purchasing myself Grandrip+ in another tab as I type this. To purchase from a US store and ship to Aus, it's costing me just over half what it would have to buy locally.
  19. Sai's Pixel Blaster (is it good??)

We got a few issues sorted today (cleaned out all the stock profiles, reinstalled all the printers) so I'll see how that treats the bugs. I'm just not convinced PB is the right long term option for me.
  20. Multiple pages to FB500

I'm using Pixelblaster. Trying to send multiple pages at present results in only the first page being received by the printer and an error on Pixelblaster.
