Ok, recently I upgraded my flatbed printing with a R2000 and have no more use for my EFI raster flatbed, which has worked beautifully up until I had to unplug and move it. I'm not looking to make a fortune on this machine, AT ALL. Hit me up and make me an offer. It comes with the computer...
We
Yea we've been doing it like animals up till now. It's not that I don't know how to set up cut lines I just hadn't done it IN ONYX before. I got it though, thank you.
Yea well they've got a tech following up for a week's training usually a month after it's installed for the in depth stuff...
So, I just got a new HP R2000 and updated my onyx to thrive. My shop manager is a guy who is set in his ways, but the tech started to show us the cut portion of the RIP software and I’m curious, we use coreldraw, how do I set up cut lines in coreldraw that will be able to be used in onyx to set...
I don't know if it would help at all to say I'm MORE than willing to deal on this.... I'm talking $1,000+shipping costs, it's yours. again: it still prints beautifully! If you're not interested in buying it, but have some idea of someone that might or at least have an option for me to get rid of...
Ok I couldn't post in the classifieds so I'll do it here: If anyone's looking for a cheap intro into flatbed printing, I've got a EFI raster flatbed that's being replaced next week. It's working BEAUTIFULLY at the moment, the problem is it's old and if I had to replace parts I'm forced to go to...
Ok, I bit the bullet and bought a HP R2000, it's getting here between 8/28 and 9/11 so I'll keep you posted. I'm excited! a little nauseous, but mostly excited lol
Had a virtual demo of a HP R2000 and I'm leaning VERY heavily towards getting it..... 10 yard signs (1-4'x8' sheet) two-sided currently takes me 45-50 minutes of printing (after the 45 minutes it takes the lamps to warm up, assuming no line bleeding or anything else is needed). This thing can do...
Ok, I currently have an EFI rastek h360, it’s run once a week on average, quire more during our busier season. It’s currently not printing black and I’m troubleshooting it to get more info but I need to start thinking about replacing it and wanted input for printers that would be good for my...
Stacey, I remember you implemented "SignTracker" not too too long ago. What was the process like for the pricing/material costs load process? the material cost/labor and pricing looks pretty robust, but I imagine inputing all the particulars is quite a process. I'm just wondering how long/how...
I send low-res images to non-customers like this. I'd be talking to the lady thought finding out how she produces these banners and maybe you can get them done for her at a wholesaler's price. Not knowing your capabilities I know at least for me I can always tell the customer confidently "MY...
that's my exact setup. In the realm of PC's, by the way, I usually hit up Signburst for custom machines that'll last. The old computers we had here used to be horrible. They were old and even when they were new the old owner spent JUST enough money to make sure they could run. I agree with the...
The PC’s in my shop have the same issue with coreldraw Fromm time to time. I hate that! Yet to happen on my Mac Studio. Coreldraw is the software of choice in my shop, although I just gout V2 if affinity as I know they program their stuff more specifically for Mac silicone.
So, they get decals they have their guys at the shop put on, the biggest digital print we currently do on 3m with the overlam is like 2ft wide, 4 inches tall. Some of them occasionally go over rivets but very rarely.
I was planning on suggesting the 3M calendered we use that’s cheaper for...
so, we currently use 3M cal. For less expensive options, with an overlam if need-be. That was the first option I was going to float to them. Just don’t have much experience with other brands and I thought I’d get input.
Ok, so we use 3M IJ175 for most vehicle wraps and decals. My biggest customer has asked that I price out less expensive products comparable in quality.
We’ve used arlon SLX but I don’t think it’s good for smaller decals plus it’s not saving a ton.
anybody have experience with the 3M AND...
ok issue's resolved: I didn't use trigon I used whoever epson's recommendation was,BUT:
Replaced the heads (both) and the enclosure (not entirely sure what he called it) but after $4000 I have what amounts to a BRAND NEW printer. And I'm happier than a pig in shit lol
Seeing as I only paid...
A) if they don't want to pay the rate of my installer, then we don't do business. And B) I make the customer acknowledge my disclosure that I can NOT will not warranty anything you bought elsewhere, no matter what it does, I'm not responsible for any issues you have.
