I am stumped.
I have an Ai file a client sent with CMYK colors that HAVE to be reproduced.
I open it in Flexi and it turns everyhing to RGB. Everything is darker and over-saturated, it will NOT print correctly as RGB.
I need to import this file, which opens in every other program I have...
Everything is 100% clean, the printer is new and this is the first banner material we have run through it.
With that said, after reading online it looks like the US Banner stuff is solvent only. We just loaded a wider roll of Ultraflex and it's printing like a dream under the same profile...
I have tried several different profiles for 13 oz banner material, matte finish and everything looks like this:
I have tried all kinds of combinations of passes, heat, etc...
This particular one here was 600 DPI 10 pass I beleive a profile for Zeelon Matte banner
Its far too light, I am...
What profiles are you using? What vinyl etc?
I created a custom profile because the default HP and Oracal ones were WAY oversaturated...I still had a wet print at 8 pass.
Right now my profile is set up as 1200dpi but I run it at 600dpi. Seems the 1200dpi profile setting drops far less ink...
On this particular print, no, no take-up But I do use it when I have to gang a bunch of prints together.
My 10pass at 600 dpi gives me inconsistent banding....a field of color will print solid, then abnd a bit, solid, then band etc... 12 pass comes out flawless. Any ideas on that?
Oracal 3651 SAV
600DPI
Temps are 55/100
12 pass low ink bi directional
We just got the printer running about a week ago, still trying to dial in all of the profiles etc..
Yep!
I am aware of the compensation utility, but it's not overall length, it's that one side is longer than the other.
Could the heat being too high distort the media that much?
We are printing some larger signs, about 3x5' and they are out of square. Measurements along the width of the printing are dead on, but the length on one side is about .375" short.
I googled online, but I cannot seem to find anything regarding it.
What can cause this an is there an adjustment...
I almost fell out of my chair when he said $450.
A print on half inch PVC with a custom cut like that would fetch no more than $100-125 here...and that's WITH about 30 minutes of design work thrown in.
I prefer to pay up front and in full and not owe anyone for anything.
Where is the last frame of the comic where they total the cost of a subscription in perpetuity compared to a one time purchase?
After exhaustive reading on the Lanham act and supporting case law, this is what I have gleaned.
The courts are in conflict, but only whereas color is concerned. It seems a request to alter color can be considered reasonable for aesthetic reasons, hence the turquoise arches of Mc'D's... but...
Bill,
Thanks for the tip, I found this on their website:
The Lanham Act
