Serious question, and I need sources if you have info. Now I know color changes are common, so this question does not concern that aspect. What I am referring to here is the core design of your logo.
Does any municipality have the right to bar you from utilizing your logo? Can they really...
Wow, thanks.
I drew the smooth vector around the text manually earlier, but this will still come in handy. The clients designer claimed there was no font for their logotype and that they created it from scratch...LOL...yeah, right.
The client supplied the logo, but it was distressed from and existing font which they do not have. I need to help create a smooth outline for some letters we are CNCing for them.
Any ideas?
Challenge accepted.
We used our two guys in the video, but I know either Alex or I alone can probably mount a 4x8 in about 3 minutes. Next time we mount a 4x8 we'll take a go at it.
Running back and fourth only constitutes about an 8 foot distance anyway...no big deal.

Keith,
We credited him for the reuse of the HDU. We made the previous sign and wanted to hang it in the shop. Someone else came along and did it cheaper, as well, they did not approach the fabrication properly either.
Tell him point blank that you can tell from experience it didn't just "pop".
Ask firmly if he knows what did the damage...get him to cop to it.
Tell him next time not to lie about it, that you are always willing to help out with an unforeseen instance like this so soon after it was a fresh...

Those of you that have never tried it....play around with the split lines and easy-weed options. A bit longer to cut...but less stress later.
This was one of those projects that was great to see come together in the end. Don't get me wrong, it all looked good along the way, but that moment where the tire was mounted on the pylons and we started adding the tread....it just REALLY made the whole thing look legit.
The company has a...
Everyone, this is not about comparing designs. This is about a client going with the lowest bidder.
We told him we could not reuse the board, but would still credit him for the substrate because we wanted the old sign in the shop as a prismatic sample.
When whoever made the sign blasted it...
I have the printer (Xerox 8265 aka Mutoh Rockhopper III), the bulk ink system, now I just need ink.
Looks like Triangle Inks are fairly popular...looking at Jetbest too.
Can anyone reccomend a few southeast suppliers to source from.
Also open to other ink brand recommendations too.
Thanks:)
Your not talented enough to push a few nodes around in AI, but your designing signs?
Take a break from "designing" play around with illustrator for a few days and learn the raw basics. Drawing out a basic shape for a sign like that should take about 3 minutes and it's REALLY something you...
