  1. Mutoh VJ1204 Print width

Are you telling whatever RIP software you are using what size the media is? Also, when you load the media into the printer it should read the edges of the vinyl and it will show the width on the menu; is this happening? If not, try unplugging it for a few minutes to reset and try it again.
  2. Contour cut large project question

Thanks guys a lot of good ideas and I'm going to cut my jobs down to about 72" in length. I appreciate all the good feedback.
  3. Contour cut large project question

Ok, normally I run jobs of <500 but I'm running a job of 3000 5"x2" decals and have broken them down into 3 jobs of 1000 each. I am using the FC7000MK2-130 and want to know if anyone has a better way of setting up. I use the "sheet" command at the begining and then set the origin. As you can...
  4. Pirated Aurora Graphics DVD's

Yeah a dispute with PayPal after you talk to Aurora will get your money back. So you should be good and it would be a good gesture if Aurora replaced your copies. Let us know how it goes.

  8. 50" media only prints 48"

I see by your profile you have a Mutoh so I'm assuming its the 50" ValueJet 1204, if so then you can only print 48" across. It holds 50" media but will only print on 48".
  9. BIG Mutoh Problem

Keith helped me with my intial setup after I tried to do it alone and made the process much easier and everything has worked perfectly since. Network cable is definitely the way to go and the trick is just making sure you set the correct IP address.

  11. Signs 101 Business Model

I am a member of a totally unrelated forum and they have premium membership that allows access to exclusive forum sections. This seems to work well because you can still get the traffic you want for advertisers while giving those that want to pay a premium a place of their own to go and have...
  12. Graphtec FC7000MK2-130

After taking some time playing with it, I've got it working correctly just about every time and once I reconfigured Flexi to hold the job after it finishes, it lets me recut if I get an error so no more throwing away prints. I'm a happy camper now.

  16. Graphtec FC7000MK2-130

I seem to be getting too many "Mark Scan Error" messages on this cutter. I spend time lining up my marks and I still get them. Is there some trick as to the correct size borders, etc. that I should aware of or is this all operator error? Also, I'm really frustrated with FlexSign Pro 8.5 as...

  19. Corel Draw or Adobe which do you prefer?

I use both. I like AI because I'm so used to Photoshop and it's controls are close but Corel does some things better. Download the 30 day free trial of each and play with them to see which one you like best.
  20. Hello from Texas!

I learn everyday how small the world is. I once ran into someone I knew on the beach in Aruba and another in London.
