I checked out the entire site and I didn't see any links for cutting vinyl though I did see reference to DIY vinyl jobs. I hope to God that he is not going to teach them to apply though. Thank God for the wife coming in and looking pretty for 2 minutes of his video otherwise I would of fell...
Dan,
Did I miss something, who said etched glass vinyl was glass work? I read the posts and didn't see that in anybodies posts. Do you 2 have a website? I would love to see your work. I know Dave Smiths work very well and his stuff is mind blowing. You are right about not very many...
I listed things here before and had to pay to list them (not that it was a bad deal as everything sold) but isn't he already advertising it here by asking? Kinda lets it out of the box that it is for sale, huh???
To be honest I don't see him getting $1500 out of it as I just bought about 3...
Yeah I really don't do any carved glass as it is way to time consuming and no one wants to pay for it. I was doing some signs that were glue chipped but once again I like making them and putting them out. I get most of my effects from glitter, mica powder, gold - silver - copper leaf...
Just wondering if anyone else does sandblasted or etched signage. Personally I do logos in mirror but also do a lot of scroll work and make antique mirror glass.
I have heard that before about Xtreme Cutting mats, I have a Speed Press and I got mine in the dead of winter, it took under 2 hours in my basement to lay flat and it is awesome. Send that turd back and then go to:

and buy one that is worth the money.
I think that the font is URW American Gothic Bold so just type it out again. Things brought into Corel from Illy act funny and I agree with most of the previous posts.

I cannot begin to tell you how much of that stuff I sell to businesses all over the US! Personally I don't really think it looks like etched or frosted glass persay but it is close enough for a lot of people as I cut about (20) 24" x 50 yrd rolls every 6 months. Businesses just don't want it...
I would question any letters saying they have use permissions as many shops are facing lawsuit right now for doing this. Here is a link that shows what I am saying:

Sorry that is for the vector printable color file, I thought that is what you were looking for
Anytime I make a sign I use paint mask for my lettering but never vinyl as quality exterior paint will last 2-3x's longer and looks better. Much less expensive then buying a roll of each color you need. I have never made a sign using vinyl except corplast.
