Its just a door and hinge... you really shouldn't have that much trouble. It will just fail but you can still install it.
If you try it, take off the transfer tape. Maybe you could try printing a piece of whatever vinyl you have and see how you do installing that?
Flexi's Color Management, or lack there of, sucks. We have had nothing but problems trying to get color to look good. Get a new RIP and maybe try downloading some profiles from the distributors websites.
I usually almost always use matte. Gloss is just too much in my opinion. It is probably just me but it seems to look better longer. The only time we had gloss in stock was when a Grimco rep came by with 3 150' rolls for $150
it happens all too much. My dad had a store for 20 years and had to close years ago. One point he had 5 stores a couple in MD, VA, and NJ.
Its funny... His old warehouse he sold has an awning and if you look at it, you can still see "COMPUTER AGE" burned into it. Might be only funny to me though
Vector Magic is the best program I have used... it was free but now it cost next to nothing for how awesome it is.
And about the double cuts... It has an option to "remove background" and lets you select what you want to remove which works for me... Maybe you need to update.
