Installed generic cap and its pulling ink without issue. The mutoh cap was inferior, it never even saw ink and was bad. So for anyone out there in question, buy the generic for $20 instead of the mutoh for $120 And I cannot thank you guys enough for chiming in with help, thats a huge deal.

I did get the one that looks oem, so we will see. As far as replacing whole station, wouldnt the only different be the lines? Ive already removed lines, cleaned, tested good, then replaced with new after no change. You guys are awesome with your advice, rare these days with anything.

I bought another cap top to try, non oem. I know everyone hates non oem, but I am not a fan of oem parts that dont work either. I bought the oem and it hasnt printed a single thing and Im pretty sure its bad. It absolutely wont seal to pull suction.

I was having syringe issue, so I was pulling from one, with closed syringe on the other and the 3rd blocked. I can clearly hear and feel the air moving at the cap with printhead moved out of the way. I stuck a card over the cap to test seal, and pulled suction. It really didnt do much, and...

maybe more downward force? I think only lowering printhead would do that, but no idea if thats a thing or how to do it.

When I pull ink manually, its just air. printer only has cleaning fluid in it, its never had actual ink since ive been fighting this issue. So printhead has never seen actual ink. printhead is new, cap is new (oem). I pulled printhead back out to make sure it was hitting correct spot, and...

I have in the past, but I just tried it and nothing but air. Seal looks perfectly lined up. Looks like good pressure against cap. tried wetting cap. Nothing but air.

Ive already replaced dampers, cap top, pump, printhead, cartridges, fuses, cables, and primed the dampers, tried pulling ink manually, etc. Ive tried many cleanings, and it just wont pull ink. Its not blowing fuses now, I think the old printhead caused that. Which transistors would cause that...

Ive replaced fuses, and that cleared error. Still no ink flowing at printhead though. The only thing I havent replaced I think are the boards, the case, and the stand. the cables are new

Found one fuse good on main board, one that wouldnt fully ohm out, and one that looks to be bad, So really two bad ones.

Old printhead gave this error. Replaced head, tried many cleanings, couldnt get two channels to work on new printhead. Replaced cables. Error 85. replaced cables again error 85.

I emptied tank, kept valve open, did long cleaning cycle. Zero came out of tube. One line coming from pump was clogged, changed that and zero effect on it. It has two lines, going same place, so it didnt matter that one was clogged apparently.

No idea what to do at this point.

So blue and yellow are not working. Lines look filled for the most part, one blue has air in lines that never moves. I pulled ink through lines at the damper and no issue doing that, so its not a clogged line. I dont see it being air leak, and orings are new. I cant imagine 3 dampers being...

Ive been able to get red and black to print, but no luck on blue and yellow. I did see the ink move in the lines at first, but a few charges and cleanings and nothing. I will try to let it sit overnight and hope for a miracle.

Ive let it sit a few minutes and did another little charge, I can see ink movement now...fingers crossed.

I threw the old one away, when i installed this one I finally got ink movement again...but clogged printhead. I soaked it for a month, tried everything. Now with the new printhead this is not pulling ink. I pulled the head, I can see the seal is perfectly lined up. Dampers are not dry...

Should I try another set of dampers? Im at a loss, I have spent alot of money and have yet to have any success at all. I have no idea if the 3rd set is oem or not, but at this point im not impressed with anything oem anyway.
