Same here we have 2 guys in new haven if i quote 500 they'll do it for 50.00. same story they always come back because cheap is cheap. cheap work cheap material cheap business etc....
Just boils down to the installer. I always get quotes from companies wanting to know how much it costs me to do a wrap because they have a customer in my area, And I always quote them high and give them longer than normal times because they never come in clean and ready to wrap.
JEEZ, just heat and elbow grease. We do about 200 trailers a year different material on each so they are not the same. tried every chemical out there etc.. And came back to the old torch. Hell I even had a fleet of budweiser trailers that would only come off after I wiped them with 409 and used...

Home base works if your business is in a seperate building on your property. But if your doing it out of your house I guess it depends on your clients. I have a shop to go to so I get more done more professional. Do any of your clients work from their home? If your goal is to be a professional...

I'll take 3m or Oracal over Avery. Tried supercast this summer on a wrap just to give it a shot. invironment was a customers garage a little warm out and the material melted like butter when it stuck it was hard to get to come off the vehicle to reposition. Same invironment and 3m and oracal did...
Funny thing you said that about the superhero, They wanted something like that years ago and never pulled the trigger. I had hand drawn one put it in photoshop/ illi and just like now they cant decide.
Thats what i'm thinking. The thing is they want me to do the work because they like my work but man they are the most difficult as far as figuring out what they want. And when they finally gave me an idea it does sound like an ad campaign. I mean what they sell is something the general public...
Have a customer I've been sending box truck wrap designs to. They have had other designs from various companies as well but nothing has hit the mark. Then I get an email that says they are looking for a way to translate their slogan " If we make our customers successful, We will be successful."...
