  3. PC60 - Cleaning the head?

I printed the photos and they worked great. There was still some banding, but, I rotated the image a bit and it kinda made it look like a gradient fill. After lamination, it looked great... and the customer was proud of it. He gave me a $200 tip!

By the way... I truly appreciate all of the replies! I'm getting ready to print the graphics for the vehicle. Ordered vinyl and laminate. I have been told to clean the heads after each print. I have a couple of small jobs that call for photos approx. 12"x18" to go on a vehicle window along with cut vinyl. Can I print and laminate with the expectation of it holding up to the weather for a few years?

  11. wacom designing

Isn't there a digitizer similar to this that actually writes on a pad and duplicates it on screen... now that would be the ticket! I'm still stuck with the old mouse - in fact I should be cleaning the ball instead of on here.
  12. Looking for some setup help

Proper cable may be an issue. I had one plotter that required what I think was called a null port adapter or cabling that was made with it built in.
  13. Air Bubbles

Peel it off and start over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, - until you get it right.

  15. PC60 - print directly on magnetic?

Thanks, I didn't know... the machine was sorta free, so I wasn't that worried about it. If it would work I would use it alot more. For cutting vinyl, it is in slow motion and for printing stickers it's so-so.
  16. PC60 - print directly on magnetic?

I have used some newer machines that warn not to run magnetic thru them. Would it be possible to print directly to magnetic with the ribbon machines?
  17. cad-type welding?

Bogie, use the shaping tool and trim with it. I use it alot. If you have to, weld it all, then you can actually draw with the pencil where you want any portions cut away. combine allof your pencil lines then trim. break it back apart and delete any pieces unwanted. The trim tool can be set to...
