Not entirely sure if this a "Mutoh" question, or a "Flexi" question... however, for any given media, there are generally choices between Graphics 1/2 and Quality 1/2/3/4 Some have "bi-dir" on the choice as well. Can anyone explain the difference between these settings? None really say...

yes, I find I have to be very careful with the heat settings on some banner materials - otherwise it "puckers up" between the rollers, and starts striking the head on the way by, which is very not-good for it ; ) and leaves black smudges / stripes. I've never had any problems with it not...

yes, I've used it before. Two mainstream companies make this stuff, IBM Via Voice and Dragon Naturally Speaking. Its actually been around a long time, and sure has come a long way! If it was a "Costco bargain bin" , it might not be the newest version, so might not be as accurate as some...
