  1. Shop Race Car Wrap...

Looks good, I have a NA that I autocross in STR. But if I were to do a V8 I would go with this kit, nothing like Z06 motor in a Miata. Only adds a couple of hundred pounds, can keep the A/C, and you gain 400 horsepower :notworthy: http://www.flyinmiata.com/V8/
  2. I love my job

If that's a hole in the aluminum at the bottom, the body shop will probably have to change that entire sheet.

  6. Alarm Monitoring Signs - options?

Stouse makes them, and I think they also sell blanks in different shapes. A lot of the big screen print shops also sell blank shapes if your order isn't big enough to screen print.

  9. Pantone Colors and Matthews Paint Matching

I installed some formed plastic letters yesterday for a State Farm Insurance agent. State Farm specifies Pantone 485 for the red. When the letters came in I opened the box and the red was more orange than I expected. I borrowed a pantone chart and to my surprise they were a match. But you...
  10. Do government jobs get charged sales tax?

In Louisiana anything to do with the government is not taxed. No sales tax for cities, parish, schools, police and sheriff departments, etc. Might be different in your state.
  11. SP-300V Cut Carriage Cable replacement guide

My dealer sent me this when I changed mine. Between this and things I found online changing it wasn't too hard, took me and my son a couple of hours at the most. When you unplug the cable from the back of the printer, tape the new cable to the old one so you can pull the new one into the...
  12. Paying employees to wrap their personal cars to advertise for the company???

In Louisiana the insurance companies require any vehicle with advertising to be licensed and insured as a commercial vehicle.

  15. Corel upgrade info

Saw this in a newsletter today. It seems that many users don't understand the implications of the new upgrade policy Corel implemented late last year. In short, only users of the previous two versions of a product are eligible for upgrade pricing. Based on that policy, users of CorelDRAW X4...
  16. Anyone recognize this one?

Thanks a bunch, I knew it was something common.
  17. Questions about Phototex, non-typical use

I contour cut numbers and letters for race cars out of phototex and have no problem with the cuts, it does require a sharp blade and a lot of pressure though. It would probably work on the crane, depending on your printer you may want to use a liquid laminate.
  18. Anyone recognize this one?

What the font isn't matching this, anyone?
  19. WOW just wow!!!
