It's a little over your price however the Epson F570 is perfect for what your asking about. Prints with bulk ink, and roll paper (as well as sheets). I would stay away from "converted" printers.

All PC's are different, however for what its worth. We run flexi on 2 windows 11 pcs and have had no issues at all. Maybe contact Flexi's horrible support and show them what's going on?

Yes, there are other Graphtec marks you can use. They can have marks going down the sides as well as the 4 corners. I want to say Graphtec segment area type 1 or 2 should be correct.

Make sure the blade holder is snug. Could be your blade holder needs to be replaced, or a bad blade. Could also be like Gino said and you might have mistakenly set it u to perf cut. Also the cutting strip could be worn.
