Lmao. My wife thinks I'm losing my mind. Our kitchen cabinets are plane and my work table has cherry wood. Lol. At my other shop, I had no room for a real work table. I had a "L" shape work bench. It was driving me nuts.

I capped them with red cherry.

I'll post a pic tomorrow of the table finished. Holds vinyl, transfer tape, have a roll of megnetics on rollers at one end, drawers the whole 9 yards. Lol.

Alright,,,,so,,,it worked for a few feet and that was it. This laminator makes me feel useless. I took out the lam, put it my Oracal lam,,,BAM,,,no problems at all. I took it out, tried the other one,,,,wouldn't work. Put the Oracal back in,,,,worked fine. Here is my question; is it possible...

Many many mokns ago when I first started working in a sign shop, they were small town with no experience and didn't know about wet app. So about 20 years ago I learned dry app and never looked back.

Shouldn't the layer be seperated from the background before? Or is that an extra step I do for nothing?

Every video on youtube, the take up for the backing turns torwards the back. Mine turns torwards the front. Can't get the lam tight enough. It's a new dc-650. Anyone else using this model? Thanks
