I need to mount a ~36" x 80" piece of alumalite to the side of a metal building. Custom would like minimally invasive, and for the face to ride about 2-3 inches off the surface of the building. Suggestions?

correct sort of... but more over, i want the ability to use the logos on end user items (and I do have a consumer in mind already, but they aren't affiliated with the companies), as well as sell overages via like ebay or something. it would be small run items... not mass produced stuff.

are there any logos that are considered public domain? or is pretty much everyhting you see out there protected?

well that's what i mean, who at these massive companies are the ones that need to be contacted? and do they generally charge you for using the stuff?

useful link... but how about being extra helpful and illustrating how you go about acquiring logo releases for things instead of shunning every customer looking for something not original. and what about stuff like say... a font used in a logo. or somehting like the chevy bowtie in a design?

the majority of what we print is on 3m IJ680 for the fire and emergency industries, thermal and ink jet. If thermal, Be sure to use transparent foils, and obviously, black, white, and metal colors won't be reflective. If inkjet, you should be fine aside from blacks. even on our 2 layer profiles...

I have Vista 64 at home and just bought an edge II/ with 375 plotter. I think it comes with the original 1.xx design and output. I currently have 2.5 or 2.6 design (no output) What are my options for setting up my system? will 64 run these? what do i have to upgrade? Also, i am getting a new...

I run two of them at work. I love the things. I am in the market for an inexpensive used laminator now. i don't need anything bigger than 16 inches or so, as i'll just have the edge for now, so if anyone sees something, let me know!

well i think i found one. it's an edgeII and 375 plotter, single owner, was inspected and it's in super condition. comes with the 1.xx software (i already have the 2.xx design suite) also comes with 30 assorted foils and some substrate. 8300 for the whole lot.

Hi all, I'm in the market for a used Edge II and an envision 375 plotter. What should I plan on spending? What would be considered a fair value for a nice clean used setup?
