hmmm. we spent a ton of cash chasing a similar problem on our mimaki and it just ended up being a bad lot of cyan ink. for a cheap starter, i'd switch in a new cartrige and do 4 ink fills to flush the lines and see if anyhting changes.

we service the fire and emergency industry at work for almost 90% of our stuff. the vast majority is fire trucks and ambulances. generally, we tell the manufacturers that it needs to sit for 3 weeks for the paint to cure. longer if it's winter. we also always let our prints dry for 24 hours...

Question regarding the final paragraph (disclaimer) on that user agreement... would that in effect displace any legalities regarding the printer (aside from moralities) and hold up if you were to end up in court over a spongebob picture?
