I'm attempting to print on higher grade fabric that will be used as upholstery material. I got good results on our UV printer, but was sent "solvent fabric" that is supposedly treated. I'm thinking it's not treated at all. The image is clean, but it's desaturated. My sales rep that ordered it...

Check the date for on the Cyan cartridges. If they're expired you'll get the hyphens. Also if the cartridge is empty. I have had the chip get dirty and not be read by the printer. You can just wipe the chip but if it's from one day to the next I'm thinking your cartridges have expired.

I figured out yesterday that my JV33 wasn't getting ink into the damper, but I guess upon forcing ink into the tube and into the damper I blew the damper out because I leaked a ton of white everywhere. I thought I'd try the fill the docking station with solution and then power everything down to...

Now I've got inkflow to the damper....I'm going to fill the station and power down tonight....hopefull tackle the head tomorrow. Any suggestions so far?

yes randya, you are correct, aaaaaand a little birdie told me that Mimaki's cartridges are the exact same ones and in fact produced by Epson......just don't tell anyone. :thumb:
