A nozzle wash doesn't do anything but soak the surface of the head. So no I don't think that would work. You can try running a couple of Ink Fill Up cycles that usually pumps with the most force and will pull new ink from the lines into the dampers and ultimately through the head. However if...
Again - you all have been a wonderful help to my situtation. My thoughts on this are starting to get very clear and the answer is almost obvious. Thanks for all your support and your advice!!
If it beeped and there was a malfunction on the 29% magenta cartridge maybe there was a gap in the line from when the cartridge malfunctioned and the time that you pushed the cartridge into the slot. So maybe there's some air caught somewhere in the line.
Vehicle window tinting is not the same basket as store front window tint. If you're new to tinting - don't think that you can just jump into it and start whipping out car tints. It's a much more complicated process. For one - you have to remove interior door panels to access the windows...
If you have the solvent printers I would advise to let it completley out gas for the recommended 24hrs EVEN WITH the use of the heater. The heater is really good to get a good solid surface dry. Having just the fans, there's still a risk of the inks not completly drying and then they stick to...
I've had it happen when an Ink cartridge runs out with out warning the printer. Basically the line runs dry and the damper empties. I've also had it happen when changing out dampers and during a printhead replacement. But mostly if and when a cartridge runs out.
These things happen. I've done it more then once - seen this and panic "OH CRAP - what's wrong NOW!?" Then I take a minute. Think about it, look at it and usually it comes to me. And after you see this a couple of times you get used to checking that first.
look like an empty damper. Try a couple of ink fill ups. Check the ink cartridge. sometimes those empty without telling the printer - a faulty cartridge trigger clip.
Well I must say - You all have been a very huge help! I'm feeling better about this then I did this morning. My mind has been a blur and my emotions have been all over the place. Thank you all for your insights and tales of experience. This site truely is one of a kind with some very great...
PW - you're right - there are ALOT of things and people that it would be nice to get away from. People that are constantly trying to get all up in our business and see what we're doing and then trying to gossip about it. Just crap like that. But it's currently tollerable b/c family is here. To...
Gino - totally know exactly what you're saying. The future - one way or another will proably have at least one coversation about - if we had done this or if we had done that this would'nt have happened. Although I'm generally a postitive person who does his best to look at the bright side of...
To your first point - It isn't an UNACCEPTABLE option. It's very appealing. And I think a solo trip - 60-90 days on my own would be necessary just so that my wife could tie up loose ends here -plust that would give me time to really take it all in and find out if this is a place I could live in...
