It would be a cool mod if it were possible but I don't think it would go main stream. Maybe like printing white is an adjustable addition to a 4 or 6 color printer. Maybe set it up for 8 color with a flourescent additive or something like that.

We've never had any complaints using White Translucent - The white backed lexan works as a diffuser to even out the light. so far its worked out great!

Who does anything to the edges of alumacore? I know we've never done anything to the edges. It comes from the supplier, we pull the plastic sheeting off and then apply and install. Never knew we were responsible for protecting the edges...

Sounds like it should be under that time period to at least call them and ask the manufacturer about it. I would think that if YOU did something wrong then the whole sign would've pulled up. But only part of it - their part of it - came up. I'd call them.

How long has the sign been up?

We use Oracals Printable Translucent - it was recomended to us by another sign shop that does alot of back lits. Solvent printable - then we usually laminate with a Luster.
