  1. Tricky design for a pickup truck

A little stumped on a design for this truck. Its a Dodge 3500 and with the fender wells and large emblems, leaves very little space for any graphics, unless I install under the truck emblems. I kind of layed it out, but I think it looks pretty boring. Any suggestions?? Jim ps. and, thats...

Where do you guys get generic images of vehicles to overlay images on for customers. so they can see what an image might look like. I have a 2005 dodge 3500 I need for a potential customer. Thanks
  4. New Logo for fairly new sign company

Was not intentional, but I think it gives it a more industrial look. I might play with it a little. Always changing it and adding/improving.
  5. One BIG sign

  8. One BIG sign

If I used any type of material other than vinyl banner, it would probably be ACM. That stuff is great and not too heavy. Easy to work with too. Any more suggestions or has anyone done these before and how did you do it.
  9. One BIG sign

No backlit. The problem with the verticals is how do I attach them to each other? Never done that. And, would you just use standard banner material?
  10. Would I benefit by puttting in a SSD drive in my five year old computer?

I will tell you this. The machine will only be as fast as the slowest component. Kind of like the chain thing. In other words if the architecture of the computer is older, 5 years?, then you wouldn't really realize and increase in speed. Standard hard drives usually last the lifetime of the...
  11. One BIG sign

Afternoon Gents. I have a customer that wants a sign 8' x 24'. The existing sign is on the side of building and is a vinyl sheet over some substrate. Havnt looked yet. He wants to cover it with another sign with his logo and text on it. I only have a 54" sc540 and have never done anything...
  12. Problems with Printable ThermoFlex

Ill give that a try. I thought you were suppose to prewash first. And, I probably did wash it within 24 hours, but not sure.
  13. Problems with Printable ThermoFlex

I just started using printable heat transfer material with Thermo flex ColorPrint white vinyl and my sc540. I prewashed my garments, cotton t's, and applied per instructions that came with the vinyl. After about 3 or 4 washs, the vinyl is now all shriveled and although the color is fine, the...
  14. HM1 vs HM1-c

No one has an opinion?? Thats strange for this site.
  15. How would you guys wrap this?

Think of your material as not a flat surface with some sides but as a pyramid. I know, its a cube with a side missing, bare with me. Wrapping a pyramid is like takeing a flat surface, the vinyl and stretching it over the top and down the sides. At the very top, its stretched at its max and at...
  16. How many employees do you have / How long have you been in the business?

Hmm, as much as most ppl that comment on this forum have their 2 cents not very many replys. Do we have couch sign businesses. :)
  17. Before and After Van lettering

Out of curiosity, who came up with the new logo. Looks great. Major improvement. Was kind of thinking, the new layout definately sets you apart from the previous, "done in the garage on the weekend" job.
  18. How many employees do you have / How long have you been in the business?

Hi all, So I was reading random threads and read one about starting pay for new employees. Most ppl averaged around $11 to $13 an hour. I wondered, "I wonder how many employees the average sign company has?" So chime off. As for me, Well, two if you count the wife. And I get paid less than...
  19. How would you guys wrap this?

Instead of a chrome wrap, just use a spray. Rustoleum has some nice metallic sprays, but there are a lot on the market. Try on a test piece first.
  20. HM1 vs HM1-c

Hi all, Got a buddy wanting to sell a hm1 and Im interested in getting into the digital printing on shirts. Currently use vinyl and printed vinyl. Not to impressed with the printed vinyl. Anyways, I would like to know the difference between the hm1 and hm1-c. Does the hm1 print white? or do...
