CNC cutting without the CN part.
  3. So, you think you know a thing or two about CNC...

What really caught my attention is this: In 1935? One of my friends that owns a machine shop just got a Oxyfuel cutter in 2022 to punch out base plates from 1" mild steel. I've been trying to talk him into getting one of those CNC plasma cutters (Arcdroid CNC) for a while now (not so I could...
  4. So, you think you know a thing or two about CNC...

We live in amazing times. I watched a similar video with a solid block of aluminum being machined down to a complete polished billet cylinder head. Just needed valve guides and seats. Each copy was $6000.00. In contrast and just as amazing - how they did it old school in 1935: edit - for some...

  12. Inflation Versus Interest Rates

Tightening the belt around my waist has done nothing to control the inflation of my midsection. I'm going to have to think of a better strategy.
  13. Inflation Versus Interest Rates

That will be up to my descendants, I think I have paid enough.
  14. Are you kidding me?

Best to do it face to face. Email is too easy to hide behind. Most don't understand the cost of producing a sign. If they are a customer worth keeping show them. If they are not then give them your best price and clear the decks for the next one. Most of the time giving in a little does not...
  15. Inflation Versus Interest Rates

I'm 2 payments away from paying off my mortgage. Once that's done I am going to kick back and play Call of Duty Modern Welfare for the rest of my days.
  16. Are you kidding me?

What did they say when you told them why you had to raise your prices? A 10-year business relationship should be worth a face-to-face or even a sit-down lunch.
  17. Anyone on here move up in the rankings?

The reply that cracked me up: "He made it to 94 - the germs were afraid of him"

  19. Need Help Signs365 Banding Issues

Would not hurt to reach out to them if you have not already. They do seem to be stand-up guys over there.
  20. Removing tape-mounted panels, etc.

Those do look useful. As a bonus do they make f@rt sounds when you deflate them? To have that much air trapped in a bladder and not sound off would be an engineering failure.
