I have a couple of signs up for over a year now, used the Rustoleum Brand latex that says it can be used for metal or wood. Vinyl stuck with no issues, the signs have been up year round even weathered the southern exposure to a hurricane and still look good with no lifting on the paint or vinyl.

I started with MacTac and I still have signs that after two years in the hot South Texas sun still look great, even the reds but shipping made it to cost prohibited. I used FDC and Avery A6 for a while with no major problems, except FDC feels rubbery and stretchy. No problems with Oracal 651...

I agree with Rick, the easiest way is to lay white over the black

Cut slightly smaller than your substrate and if you really want to make sure of good edge adhesion use an edge sealer like the seal-it pen.

I have always been a Canon fan, I still think they are great cameras, but I came across a great deal on an Olympus Evolt 300 a couple years ago. It is built like a tank, has a ultrasonic sensor cleaner and even my buddy who owns a Canon Rebel Digital agrees the Olympus renders colors better...

Just ribbing you this is a basic question, which one assumes a sign shop or even hardcore hobbiest already knows. The s/w that came with your plotter may have the feature, if not I don't know of any other way than shelling out some money for s/w you can also try Signcut X2 it has a subscription...

Here's the way you panel a garphic. Create a vector file, get in the car, drive to a sign professional near you... and they will know exactly what to do.

Never mind I found it on a Font CD I bought at Target...for this very reason people are always using discount fonts to design their own logos. Its Becker Thanks
