I worked at a shop where I sat about 20ft away from the designer and he would send me emails concerning jobs that were due that day. I was in production so wasn't always at my desk. I could still just walk up and smack him and it's been 7 years lol
Mine does this from time to time. I've done the same thing you mentioned and have not figured it out. Normally I just reset it and if that doesn't stop it I let it beep itself out. It usually stops after a few minutes. Sorry this doesn't help out knowing why.

Do you know what brand you used? I'm just trying to get this old plotter to run off my laptop. I'm assuming the Rs232 would be my serial part on the plotter. I was told to get a graphtec cable because of the pin configuration and use a parallel rs232 adapter. I am so not computer savvy...
Hello! In the midst or a transformation here for backup. Have a graphtec 2100-50 plotter that is still a workhorse and has never let me down ( knock on wood) it has a parallel port and a rs 232c port. I purchased the graphtec cable and a rs232 adapter to connect to a 9 pin serial on the back of...
Just watched a video where you go to misc on the top bar and choose setup and it lists drivers then you can choose add. Hope this is a step in the right direction
