Ok, Mr. Customer. I get it. You wanna know how cheap you can get this banner. IF you have production ready artwork it's $5 per sq ft. IF NOT then it's $65 an hr. to create production ready artwork. After giving proper art specs for vector or raster imaging and supported file types (AI, PDF...
the usb is soldered to control board $400 for complete assy...Otherwise, like you said, someone proficient in soldering computer boards to replace USB. The mutoh cutter is a private label machine built by GCC. It's a jaguar from what I've been told.
The USB port was damaged and we are trying to connect thru the serial port. We are using a serial port adapter from the USB on the host side. We are using Flexi production manager. I understand that when the plotter was set up to communicate thru USB the serial port was disabled. How do I...
I've only used seal-it pens and I bought a bottle of 3m 3950 in hopes that it is a little faster to apply then using the seal-it pen... 3m warns of possible problems on painted surface. Anyone ever have issues on painted surfaces and sealing with the 3950?
You need to build a pattern. When you flatten the pattern will should find that work area swoops down progressively as you get closer to the bow. As you install the graphic the downward swoop actually pulls in towards the nose of the bow. The inverse is correct for the wrap above the rub...
Wow...congrats...kinda sad to see a salty dog hit the road...your posts had always been brutely honest and insightful, in my opinion. Hope to still see u on this blog. Best wishes...
I think that there are two areas that can be overlooked, service and cost of ownership. I'd would look for a dealer that can send a service tech to the shop if a failure occurs. Yes, most of the time phone/web support can correct some issues. But, if you run into a problem that can't be...
process of elimination
You can break it down to the simplistic. The problem is either the media, the printer, or the software. or, a combination of the three. I have found it's a process of elimination. First, I can tell you that the 1324 does print extremely well and can print very rich...
Looking for merchant to purchase double sided flag. I've only had two calls fro flags in the last year and that does not justify investing in the material. Currently looking for wholesale supplier.
I had a request for a quote on a 4' x 48' billboard banner. The ad guy, a long time associate of mine, that was looking for the quote didn't have the material specification but did tell me that it was a non-adhesive banner material that they stretch. I couldn't be held to it but I said maybe...
Sign Restrictions
First thing I do is talk to the the local government. Last thing you want to do is take down a grandfathered sign and have to comply with what could be less desirable restrictions. Secondly, you could spent a lot of time and effort into designing a sign that make not meet...
bulk mail and getting it to stand out
Using direct mail can be a challenge. Using a 4 x 6 sure doesn't make it any easier. Its been my experience that a large piece would be more effective. You also need to make sure that you have a well designed ad. No offense, but there are a lot of sign...
rich black
It sounds like there is something in the RIP. I recently purchased a 1324 w/ the flexi and it prints a super rich black when I use the default black in flexi. I have been designing in RGB per the tech suggestion. I do have problems getting the rich black when I design in PS or...
what about heat
after reading your advise I checked out the cost on fellers and they indicate not to use heat during application. what's your experience?
Any methods on removing an old panel from an old marquee. Normally I find removing the side trim piece and sliding the panel out to be no problem. But today it was a huge pain. It definitely wasn't an original panel and felt like it was cut 1/32 too tall and jammed into the channel.
