ok......................on the left hand side, the tool bar at the bottom has 2 boxes for your colors. the right hand side one, the one nearest you is the stroke/bleed. press on that and on the top tool bar you will be able to adjust the width.
well, we did out first lam job on our new seal el yesterday. we have been using it to mount stuff on the past week or so.
what a difference! i did a continuous feed of approx 100 + feet of prints without any problems! i couldn't even do 2-3 feet with our old diage sole without it...
hmm, well, maybe check the bleed in the file, make sure you have enough bleed. if the cut is actually off, as in, it is cutting over to one side more then thats different. if its cutting and you are getting the white material, then thats going to be your bleed.
if the design is the same apart from just the sizes and the cut contour looks good in illistrator, then it should be the same in versa works.
if the cuts are getting off when it cuts on the printer than yes, maybe the material is moving. are you using media clamps? are you using the pinch...
when your printer takes the enviroment it is in, for example the room it is in and adjusts for any temp/humidity changes etc so the material you have reloaded into your printer is cut correctly.....................i think i explained that ok??!!!?!
how do you do the enviromental match? i've read a few times now about once you print, let to dry/out gas and laminate, you then do an "enviromental match"................we've never done that. so, how do you do it?
a mixture of using rgb color charts(online) seeing the values there and then getting some tips from the guys above. the roland color charts were not much help on this one, the color in illy was a hit and miss also!
thanks for the info! yeah, i can usually get pretty much any color close enough, but man, trying to get a good battleship grey was starting to get right on my nerves!
did you get the problem sorted? sometimes when you zoom in on the cut line in versa works it appears not to be correct, or alittle off, but when you go to print its ok. the picture of the "job" in the viewing window in versa works always looks really bad/pixalated!
yeah............it was coming out greenish! i looked online at color charts etc and was getting there, but thought i'd post on here, see what you guys come up with and as usuall............. got what i needed! awesome!
