yeah, its an add-on. we were given the option before we bought ours, but since we don't do long runs of prints much we didn't go for it.
however, i'm thinking of getting one as it looks like an easy upgrade and will help out on the 4-8 ft pieces we often do.
we've had this happen(the dented lines) on our rolls of banner. we use 13oz and about 20ft to the end of the roll, there appears these dented lines, its a fault at the factory where they wrap it up too tight(according to our supplier).

we've had foils stick sometimes. we always on one perticular file, on the yellow, it always sticks at one end, everytime! never have much trouble with our foils sticking, but, it happens every now and again.
if the banner is outside and you get a tornado/bad storm and it gets "destroyed" then thats considered an "act of god" in insurance terms......in other words, nothing anyone can do about it! windslits won't help in those conditions.
sell him a thicker banner and explain to him the pros and...
if its a picture of the customers shop and they are near you, you can go out and take a good high quality picture yourself, or.........maybe even have the customer go outside and take a picture of the shop and sent it you via email.

i did ask him when he told me. he said thats what they recommend to do but he wasn't one hundred percent clear on the ins and outs of it, hence my post on here.
