Occasionally when I'm saving a new file in Flexi and I use the save feature it will save my work not in a .fs format but as a FILE.. Has anyone else experienced this or can tell me why this happens? When the file saves in the file format it make it very hard to locate thru the open option...

I do know how to install vinyl and proper prep procedures. My masking tape wasn't sticking well that's why I asked. The gelcoat is VERY smooth. I believe is had been sanded at some point. The vinyl seems to not be taking as hard as I would like.. Suggestions??
