  1. Anapurna M2540 FB?

You might also wish to look closely to the HP/Scitex FB700 or FB500. The FB700 is well under $200K and the FB500 is under $100K. Both units are hybrid (belt fed) and both are well suited to production printing. If you are on the east coast, locate an HP reseller and work in a trip to HP Demo...
  2. HP ColorSpan 5465UV

I hope you didn't pay too much. HP has pretty much put that puppy to bed.

  4. L26500, this many problems?

ZMachine, HP will get it right....and when they do, I suspect that Mutoh will become your bot anchor. :) Good printing.

  7. L25500 and Window Perf

Pat You are correct sir. I don't generally address specific products or pricing. And, based on comments that Bigfish has made, it would appear that I should probably refrain from posting anything. :) Have a great day and enjoy.
  8. L25500 and Window Perf

BigfishDM, <<NuSign is a bad company I know from first hand experience! They lie and treat their salespeople like crap, I would never trust anything someone from Nusign tells you.>> I am the GM for Nusign Supply located in Houston, TX. I began a career in computer graphics in 1974...
  9. L25500 and Window Perf

KYJoe, 3M is pretty pricey. I don't believe you need to laminate the perf film. I can provide you a 54" x 164' roll of excellent perf film. It is 53% perforated, and 47% retained. My pricing is best. :) Bob@nusignsupply.com
  10. Scitex FB950 supplies

Kev bob@nusignsupply.com - Houston tony@nusignsupply.com - LA CD Renata and Peter are one of the GOOD guys in this industry! :)
  11. Used HP LX610

The conversion will allow you to run the more opaque black inks as well as printing double size. All things considered, I believe the LX610 is a very nice printer. It is fast and has few service related issues. It would have been nice if HP/Scitex had designed it to print to the floor...
  12. Hp Latex compared to Roland versaart re 640

Lazaros, I live in Nicosia for three years way back when. I would imagine YOU are going to responsible for most of the service on your printer? If so, buy the HP. It is much easier to service than a mild solvent ink printer. Good printing
  13. Looking at the Jetrix 3015.

Friends, Users, and countrymen...lend me your ears! :) SGIA is 2 1/2 weeks away (www.sgia.org) in Las Vegas. Look for some nice new surprises. Be sure and stop in at the Mimaki booth! Good things come to those who are patient. :) Bob Gruner
  14. Used HP LX610

Has the printer been converted to run new inks? Bob
  15. L25500 - One Colour will not dry

I hope HP Sales/Service/Marketing take time to review comments at this forum! It's like the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. GOOD latex ink printers. Sometimes BAD Tech Service. Sometime UGLY spare parts delivery. I am curious who Spatula bought printer from? If it was from a...
  16. L25500 vs L26500

Vital Designs, "Nothing has changed in that dept. The 26500 still has all those temperamental tendancies. Our Roland and Mimaki take about 30 secs to a min. from power up to being ready to print. The HP sometimes takes up to 10 mins. " And I bet your Roland and Mimaki smell better too? :)
  17. My new toy

Tomence, You noted: "Grimco and Advantage was offering me the L26500 without the 3K rebate for $15K, actually Advantage was little bit more expensive like around $16K and they were telling me that Grimco was selling that printer at a loss to gain my business of buying supplies." As long as...
  18. My new toy

If any reseller in the country offers you a new L26500 for $15K then he is selling the product at a LOSS; but, then again, nothing in this industry surprises me. :)
  19. My new toy

The $3K end user rebate does not end until Sep 30. Should be no problem finding a reseller across the country willing to sell L26500 for $17K (without PS RIP). End user then sends HP main board for any qualifying printer along with properly filled out paperwork and HP send end user check for...
  20. L25500 vs L26500

Particleman nailed it. It can also print double sided banner.
