    Of course not...
  4. printing on magnet

Yeah, don't print on magnets... Really, don't, not good for your machine. Best solution is to print on vinyl, laminate, then apply to the mags.
  5. Bank Account & Business Start-up??

You will need to incorporate prior to the bank acct. They require the incorporation papers to open up the acct.
  6. VP540- cant read crop marks

Set your Base Point directly over the first circle (blade centered over it). I've also sometimes had to shine a flashlight on the crop-mark as the sensor is going over it when it gets a bit temperamental.
  7. Corel X4 Upgrade

Is it a DVD instead of a CD now?
  8. How to speed up printing on the versacamm?

If the viewing distance can tolerate it, you MAY be able to get by with a 480 x 360, 1000 head speed and 4-pass profile. I created a banner profile at this and get about 165 SFPH, but it obviously must be used with good judgment based on the intended use of the final product. I was...
  9. How to speed up printing on the versacamm?

A good RIP will allow you to use the machine beyond what Roland says. I have been getting exactly 2X the output by using Wasatch Softrip...that is 64 SFPH at 720x720x8-pass. And, NO, quality doesn't suffer in the least!

  13. 4over

I just recently started using 4Over after battling with some other vendors. So far I've been very pleased with quality, price and TAT. I too have requested the sample kit, have called them, and they say that they are out of them for the moment. Even though that doesn't sound right, since they...
  14. Mimaki JV33 Series

I would like to know about the white ink too!
  15. Valuejet 64"

If you're RIP is worth it's salt, then it should handle any color you throw it at...not saying the printer can hit all those colors, but it's the RIPs job to sort it all out. I use RGB, CMYK and PMS colors all the time...each has it's own merits, but all will print...how accurate those colors...
  16. anyone using the SOLJET PRO III XC-540

I'm curious too....especially about the white ink.
  17. How do you clean the encoder strip on a SP300V?

yes...Look closer and you'll see vertical has-marks on the strip....that's what the sensor picks up to know position.
  18. How do you clean the encoder strip on a SP300V?

It's the clear ribbon tucked in the back...open up the front flip door and you'll see it there. The head uses this strip so it knows where it is along the axis of head travel. Just clean it using IPA and a soft cloth (both sides). Be gentle when cleaning it.
