Coupla ways....can save as a PDF directly from the File menu, but what I typically do is from the Estimate or Invoice window. When there, go to SEND and you can send an email and it will automatically attach a PDF file to the email.

No, the battery backup is to supply power for a short amount of time. I have two battery backups...one is strictly for the printer and the other is for the main computer, server, vinyl cutter, and desktop printer. I've tested them, and I can continue printing for some time with no power at...

Why are you cutting it all all? Normally, window perf is simply trimmed on install...what are you doing?

I've looked at those compared to a reg. panel saw. However, you cannto rip a 4x8 sheet with one of those right? They only allow you to cross-cut from what I've read. Is that the case?

Which do you really mean...print 'letters' or cut 'letters' out of solid colored vinyl. Either way...the SEARCH tool will yield mountains of information for you to peruse at your leisure.

Traditional CMYK black is just that 100% K...if you want a Rich Black, you must add CMY as well (about 20%-30% of each is pretty good). Now RGB black is essentially C100 M100 Y100 K100...not quite but pretty darn close. Try it...create a black RGB object, then open up the fill tool and choose...

Are you wanting to add a nice woodgrain fill? Is that primarily what you want to know about? If so, I'm sure Fred has some, and the AlienSkin plug-ins also do a nice job.

No, you need the matching sprocket cutter. Go to www.gspinc.com to see all they got. What you are after is a Gerber edge and a cutter such as the GSx, GS15 or much better Envision...plus you'll need the right software. You'll need Gerber Omega, FlexiPro or SignLab print & cut.

If you want thermal, buy a Gerber Edge and you'll be much happier. Or, consider the Summa DC4sx for a 30" thermal printer. Again, either of these are much better than the PC-series thermals.

While Corel will do what you want natively, I've found the AlienSkin plug-ins along with CorelDraw and/or PhotoPaint to be superior in their effect.

Have you tried the manual first, just to get an idea? It is actually quite helpful.
