The only fix I know of is to modify the width of the image in PS or Illy, just do the math and figure out what % you need to compensate for the wider printed image.
Example: 55.1875" actual test print divided by 55" target size equals a width of 54.003398", which then should print 55" wide...

We have a local equipment supply house that will make up any hydraulic hose with the proper fittings, just need remove the damaged hose and give it to them to match, as above for a fraction of the OEM cost.

I would cut the sub straight to and install the printed graphics onto the sub straight with a slight bleed then trim to the edge of the sub straight after mounting.
The Tyler ruler is a great tool for aligning the printed graphic to the sub straight...
I don't have all the info, like was the tariler already cleanned and prepped and were the graphics furnished or was there creative time to account for?

Just because so many armatures and so called bad designers have misused Papyrus doesn't mean there is not a use for the font.

Also want to THANY YOU for letting us all know what the problem was, many times on 101 folks come on here and ask for help/suggestions and we never hear back from them.

You can wet you finger, stck it up in the air over your head and turn it 360° until the humming disappears, then just face that direction while working and you will not hear the humming! (sorry just couldn't help myself).

I have read that when unpluging print heads you need to have the POWER turned off or it can blow the print head fuse, maybe that is part of your problem? Not 100% sure this would cause the machine to not turn on, but as mentioned above, check all your cable connections and the printhead fuse...
