THANKS. I would think this would work as a bit of a shock absorber when the carriage switchs directions of travel... I haven't noticed any loss of quailty in my print jobs...

If any one has a VJ could you check to see it your has 2 pads... 1 to the left and 1 to the right of the print head...

Its a mutoh Value Jet.. I don't think there is a drain or hose??? It seems to me these pads maybe should be some type of "shock / shift" absorber?? That why I thought there should be 2 one on each side of the print head.

Yesterday when I was cleaning my printer I noticed there was a pad maybe missing to the left of my print head? (circled) Should there be one here?? I noticed there is one in the hole to the right hand side of the print head.. and I swore there was one to the left at one time?? Is this true...

IDK what happend... but as I was printing side #2 of a 4'x8' banner the print stopped.. The display read end of roll. Its not any where near the end of the piece... My printer printed about 1' and this end "End of roll" came up?? CAN I SAVE THE PRINT.. RESTART IT MAYBE... When I hit...

yes its the 3197... It cut very nice (my blade is brand new) and weeds better than the Colorprint Solv which I also use alot of.
