    I ignore the ink level on the menu. It is not real accurate. My Versacamm shuts down and gives you a empty alarm when a cartridge needs to be replaced.     I actually have a sample that was given to me to duplicate, just unsure how it may had been done . Looks like one pass but heavy ink. You can feel the ink edge slightly.
