Not to be a :thread but what about hyphens/dashes? I once had a designer reject an engraved donor plaque plaque because I used a hyphen rather than an em dash on one line of text. Until then I didn't know about em dashes and en dashes.

This actually made me laugh out loud.

We use 3/4" MDF and resurface it with a 1-1/2" cutter after the board gets too chewed up. You can resurface it several times before you have to replace it.
