I just finished some coro yard signs using 3164. Nearly impossible to not trap air in the channels, without using a felt tipped squeegee. This vinyl is a good low cost option for promotional decals, Prints well on my roland, cuts fine. Application is a little tedious. No forgiveness whatsoever.

It may not be using much more ink. My workload has tripled since getting the VG, so it may just seem like it's using more ink because I am changing pouches much more frequently than I changed cartridges in the SP.
