We've been having some issues with ours for a few months now. The only way we've been able to fully rectify the situation (w/o lots of wasted effort and mat'l) is to precut the laminate to the right size, and act like we're mounting the laminate to the print...same as if mounting a laminated...

I've never had good results printing direct to magnetic materal, so I don't even try any more. I simply print, laminate then mount to the mag mat'l. Yes, more time but better results and none of the problems that you are seeing plus no extra stress on the feed motor!

I almost always turn off the cutter. More important, though, is making sure you raise the pinch wheels when not in use. Otherwise, you'll flatten them some and hinder tracking.

Have used both Extensis and Bitstream (Corel). I like Extensis better, but Bitstream is free (with Corel) and not bad at all.
