  1. Thomas Built Buses outline template

Unlike std production vehicles, a lot of busses are built to customer spec's for what/ where/ how they'll be used, so finding templates for them is always hit or miss, and not always accurate when you do find them. Nice thing about that one is it's pretty much a box with doors & windows. Easy...
  2. be prepared for Ai generated artwork

There is no claim on copyright, or it being "yours". For a copyright, art must be created by a human, and input instructions do not meet the criteria of created by a human. This has already made it's way through courts, and through the copyright regulatory system. AI generated is, for lack of...
  3. Produced graphics storage ideas

When the last place I was at got out of screen printing, we heisted a couple of their drying racks like these to use for graphics. Ours took up some real estate (they do come in different sizes), but we had the room. You can store a lot of graphics flat on on these, I think ours had like 50...
  4. Question Wall-Mounted Locking Storage Cabinet for Vinyl Rolls

Look at the plastic storage sheds/ pool boxes, they come in all kinds of sizes and configurations, can go anywhere from small units like these to large sheds where you'd have a full room. They're not wall mounted, but they hold a lot, keep dust out, and they lock. Every big box store sells...
  5. Perpetually Connected Devices...

I like watching his content, he's a real deal, not some computer hack.
  6. Perpetually Connected Devices...

If ya' got time to watch it... Very informative on what happened, and how it's fixed.
  7. Frosted vinyl install help

I'd use air release frosted w/ pre mask and dry install too. if it's non air release, do it wet with, use paper pre-mask, let it set up for a bit, then wet the pre-mask good with soapy water, it softens up the adhesive and comes off super easy. There's all kinds of methods that different people...
  8. Question Mystery Material. Need help identifying.

What's it's intended purpose? That might help someone narrow it down. First guess would be HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) since it's colored. Most other products that thin only come in black or white. You have a place right in Richmond you could hit up with that sample that handles all that kind...
  9. I'm no wrapper...big old FAIL

No way, back when I had my body shop could I have gotten 24 (even the 18 for that matter) hours on a door ding past an insurance adjuster/ company. I'd have gotten laughed out of the industry. What are they smoking? Maybe I never should have gotten out of that business.
  10. Fellers automatic account credits

Yup... Here's the full shot. Been doing that since I was 8.Had to hang it up a couple years ago due to health issues :( I still have one of my kits set up out in a corner of the shop for when I get bored
  11. Fellers automatic account credits

Fellers is one of our last resorts too. My boss is old school, he calls in just about every order for everything. Says he always wants to hear a real person, with a name, verify what he wants, repeat it back, tell him if it's in stock or not, when/ how it will be delivered... I guess the old...
  12. How to match up a design across sign boards?

I've been doing it the way I have for so many years that I never questioned it... You just proved you can teach an old dog new tricks. Gotta try that on the next one :thumb:
  13. Canva

How does that saying go? Better them than me? :roflmao:
  14. Canva

Nothing like giving 100 options for people who don't know what any of them are or do... Don't get me wrong, it's nice seeing those options, but probably too overwhelming for the amateur who doesn't even know what vector is.
  15. Canva

Don't get me started on those... My favorites are the ones with .pub extensions that won't open in any program except the freebie app they found on line... And they can't remember what it was :banghead:
  16. How to match up a design across sign boards?

Yes, add bleed like Signstein said to make it simple. I usually run bleed all the way around all panels. Always better to have more than you need than not enough. All my tables are on wheels for stuff like this. When you get one board laid, you butt the other against it with the boards aligned...
  17. Need Help Did you see this test problem before? help please

Several things can cause that, but it looks like the head is drying out (air getting at it). If it improves after a couple heavy cleaning cycles or use it's most likely cap top not sealing properly allowing air to get at the heads. Either bad, or not adjusted to seal the head when it's parked...
  18. UV Primer tips and tricks?

Don't know if this will help with a primer issue, but. Iso has no inert ingredients other than distilled water, 100% Iso doesn't even have that, so it leaves nothing on the surface. Best practice is to wipe it wet to loosen contaminates, followed by a dry towel, wiping till it's dry, that way...
  19. Retail Sign Frames

Snap frames. They come in a variety of sizes, frame styles, colors, available in plastic or aluminum. You can buy them ready to go, or just buy the snap rails/ corners and custom make them. The sides are hinged and spring loaded, to change graphics you just open the frame, insert a new one, and...
