We have a fairly simple calculator we use. The variables being the price per square foot based on material choice, whether or not they are laminated and how complex of a contour cut is involved for weeding purposes. We take the square inch measurement of the decals, divide 144 square inches by...
We just lost ours last Saturday after multiple close calls over the last several years. Most neighborhood cats back home were insanely jealous of the way he teased the grim reaper way more than nine times.
My siblings and I pushed the wake and funeral forward as best we could to not let it...
How does your cutting strip look? Unless folks are really careful, never cut all the way through or never do Perf_Cut decal jobs, it will last a while, but it can definitely affect accuracy if it gets cuts in it.
I think this guy feels the same way about not liking cold weather.

Yup. the set decorators, film crew and cast were out there near our property for over a week and paid the gas station owners $35k to get one 60 second scene in a pretty mediocre film. I think they even rented a FEDex truck to pull away at just the right moment to reveal the "Last Gas 200 mile"...
I disagree. I think most consumers want the best product their money can buy and take it for granted that manufacturers are giving it.
The reality though is quite different. At every stage of a product's life, you have pressures from the top being applied to maximize profit and shareholder...
And why would a city that only a decade or two earlier was a bustling, dynamic home of well paid, proud, autoworkers and one of the gems of GM's manufacturing base be so broke that not only could it not replace the aging water supply lines in town but also be forced to cut the budget jeopardize...
I keep wondering if and when folks discussing topics like this will include the social impacts of such an industrial and economic model both here at home and in the "wholesaler" countries we now exploit for cheap labor and natural resources.
Maybe that discussion will begin once we're up to...
No denying that most products on the shelves of certain stores are cheaper, but OVERALL the cost of living and inflation on everything else didn't suddenly stop rising once much of our manufacturing base left the country.
Great, a person who struggles working two jobs to pay the rent on a...
I didn't suggest he use that site to price anything.
I suggested he use resources like that site's tools and the SignCraft overhead calculator to HELP him calculate his overhead and establish a fair, locally based price structure taking ALL relevant factors into consideration.
I was wondering why he didn't go all the way around on his install and maybe you're right on it being for an ad or commercial and thry only need a partial shot of it and longevity is not a concern. An amaxi g amount of money and resources expended for something like that fleeting.
I remember...
The material doesn't look that aged from the photos.
If it was me, I'd try to remove a small section as a test to see if its a good quality wrap material, which if it is should come off without too much effort. That wrap can't be more than a couple years old.
You'd probably have less labor...
It looks like its mounted to a center pole and there is a little gap at the bottom where the mulch is piled up?
Ask the manufacturer about how much ground contact their cabinets are designed to have. I'm assuming there are sprinklers in the lawn and they might be soaking the mulch which is...
What calculations and methods helped you arrive at thinking $75 per hour was fair in your individual circumstances?
Calculating an hour rate is a complicated task that involves taking all of your fixed expenses, costs, equipment, rent, insurance, local cost differentials for shop rent...
I don't know, I think it depends on the model and quality level in the product line. We buy the best quality model we can afford and look for less bells and whistles and more in the power train, durability, etc..
I just looked around the house after seeing your comment and while none of our...
