I have CS2 Fred, live trace or whatever has not worked for me, maybe i am not using it correctly. Is there somewhere iwth a break down of how to use it effciently?
ps sorry for the horrible spelling, haha.
sell it at auction or liquidation for a higher price becasue its a lower end model. or it could not work at all. Id say dont buy it.
Or if you already have it just welll..... try it i guess but i wouldnt resell it without stickers becasu then you are liable.
I cant read what my last post was supposed to mean! i must have been in a hurry, anyway, I still have my pcut but it sits in the corner. never use it becsaue it doesnt put out the quality i need in a good time frame.
I used to have problems when i started out with a pcut, then after all the driver/offset/ program issues i just got a graphtec fc7000 series and called it a day, wha ti day that way i stayed up all night cutting i was so amazed at the new machine.
watch the prices they hand out! local supplier here handed me MSRP, called another rep that i had never delt with and they were the nicest people i have ever talked to and had a great price. They also discounted shipping after just talking to me on the phone.
thats odd i bought mine brand new and havent had anything come loose or any problems at all. I was absolutley wowed at the speed accuracy and quiteness of the machine!
The FC is the pro series. I got mine locally from chesapeake graphics, but they can be had from beacon and other sources. Best idea is to find someone local to you that has a good service reputation
i hate having to hear how much i would need a 540 becasue while i would love a 540... i have zero space for the extra size. sucks, but those that have 300's do they really limit you or do you just have to panel alot of things?
i owudlnt be quick to put something down, ovbiously your techniques are of. i can cut 30 feet without going off track with the exact same plotter. you might want to try the pre feed option or manually rolling out the vinyl you will use for a job and let it drape over the rollers. if you need...
slow it down, and smaller than that you would probably have to use something with tangenial emulation. but that doesnt sound to small. just slow it down a good bit and try a few out.
