  1. how do i get this effect with text?

Argh! so I did. But Mr. Google is so intuitive that he figured out what I meant anyway.
  2. how do i get this effect with text?

What's so wrong about the answer Bob gave? He told him the terminology he would be able to use to find any number of tutorials. My first instinct is to send him here: http://bit.ly/v74o5L
  3. Separating Images

Is your image a vector or is it a raster image? If it's a vector, try break apart, or the equivalent command that inkscape uses for breaking apart compound elements. If it's not a vector image, you can't break it apart and it's time to build from scratch.

  6. TraceMyIp.org

For people who seem to know so much about everything else, it amazes me that you would question the viability of keeping track of traffic on your website. I'm not familiar with the tool that the OP is talking about, but Google Analytics is excellent and free. I've also used a tool called...
  7. Wall Vinyl NOT sticking

Too much texture. The heat might help some to get it to stick for now, but eventually it's gonna come down.
  8. My new company website!

You can buy a domain and use it on your blogger site to shorten your URL and look more legit. Remove the sliding bar at the top - you can Google for how to remove the Blogger task bar. I think there's too much going on. You have a photo in the background with a transparent box on top of that...
  9. Practicing under glass

As has been stated above, practice on different surfaces like a fridge or old car door or paper. Glass is one of the more difficult surfaces - at least for me - because it has no tooth. The brush slides around a whole lot more than if you are working on a metal, wood or paper surface. Work on...
  10. Wacom's Inkling

The idea that I could draw on paper and have it actually feel like paper is very exciting. I work in pen and ink a lot so it would be so much more natural to me. I'll wait awhile to see what kind of reviews it gets. but... If someone were to buy this for my birthday I wouldn't return it.
  11. Business Cards from GotPrint

I usually send from Photoshop because the color in Corel ( I'm using X3 ) is totally not reliable. I use GotPrint and their stuff has always been right on - even on a recent order that had hot pink elements.

  15. Cutting Paper on Graphtec

Purchase the cutting mat that is used with a Cricut cutter. You should be able to find one at Walmart or on the Cricut website. It's sticky on top to hold your paper in place and thin enough to run through your plotter. Play with the depth and expect to go through a lot of blades. They make them...

I use their online designer all the time for background patterns and photoshop pallets. Very cool site.
