  3. Wrapping a car for $120 bucks

If you don't mind that it will only last about 6 months, Oracal 631 is certainly the way to go.
  4. Questions about Painting a Wall Sign (First Attempt)

In your picture it looks like you are running the edges of the sign right up to the edges of the area. Leave yourself a little space, make the height of the sign 24" and get the whole thing from one 4 x 8. It will be more cost effective and it will look better.
  5. Best Buy warrenty...

Thanks for posting this, Marlene. It's nice to hear good things about a company. It's a shame that good customer service has become something we don't expect. Makes me smile when someone calls here to ask a question or inform me that we've made a mistake in their order and instead of making...

  7. Work in Progress

It's a little slow to load, but I like the look. You have a type-o at the top of the vinyl lettering column. (Need window letting?) I like the look of the shopping cart. How do you like it so far?
  8. Need Your Tough Love (Input)

Don't know where you'd find the art, but it might be more relevant if the flames were coming up through a bbq grill. Although it's plain and readable, the lettering looks very generic. Maybe it's cuz you've used all caps. Might want to mix it up a little.

  11. Vinyl Express Software for 64-bit

We are currently running Lxi 7.5 with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. It was necessary to install the virtual XP that is available from the Microsoft website. It is necessary to install the program and the hasp driver from within virtual XP. There are a couple more little tricks, but you can pm for...

  14. What Can You Do?

I agree with your client in that I don't like the first one either. Too heavy and too generic looking. But the second one is worse. It looks like the header for a Mommy Blog. Is she a blogger herself? and more importantly... is that her customer base? You may want to explain to her that if she...

  17. Please Help!!!!

Are you not sure how to apply the vinyl, or not sure how to make your program do what you want it to? Yes, I believe your version of Flexi will make a drop shadow with an outline. It's a matter of rolling up your sleeves and experimenting with your software. Did you get a user manual with it...

  19. 1-shot Cleaning Brushes

Reading this thread gives me a hankerin' to break out the ol' brushes. Looks like the price hasn't changed all that much from when I bought mine 20 some odd years ago. If you're not sure what a quill looks like, here's a link to the Dick Blick online catalog. It appears they still carry a pretty...
  20. Application Tape won't stick.

I'm assuming that since you're using Oracal 651 that these are cut vinyl so you do have to have tape on them We sell a lot of this type of RTA decals and usually leave a small border of the vinyl material around the outer edge to hold the tape down.
