Air release is just a matter of preference. If you like installing it with RA use it and vice versa. I personally like using RA and for the minimal cost difference it is worth it to me to stock RA material. I use Oracal too

Yeah any good plotter that can read marks will be able to do that. My tip is to generate the marks in the design program not the RIP.

I had the exact same problem connecting my sj540 with wasatch. To be honest I dont remember the steps but if you call wasatch customer service they will call you back within a day. Michelle or Melissa (dont remember exactly) helped me get it connected and working perfectly. Call wasatch!!

its not cheap. not sure on the vp300 but for most soljets they are $1000. You can also have them repaired as well. Most of the time the transistors go bad. Although I am not sure if that is the same on your machine. Good luck though.

sounds like a cable problem.. The tiny bit of ink on the demo print is probably from you pushing ink with a syringe. Look at the cable and the connections again. Good luck
