was thinkin the same thing. knifeless tape only works as well as the guy that's layin it down. if you don't lay it down straight, you end up with stripes that aren't straight. bad-ass car and wrap though for sure. matte white looks so clean in person.

looks good from what i can see. i hope your wrapping skills are better than your picture taking skills.......you are gonna like the 970ra if you like a vinyl that has a super aggressive adhesive but goes down well overall. good luck with it.

that's what i was thinking. just buy a yard of real wrap vinyl from your local fellers or wherever you shop and go from there. you can buy a 60"x36" piece of oracal 970ra in matte black for under $30. it'll give you a chance to see how a wrap vinyl with air release properties works. buying...

Hmmm. i just wrapped a lexus is300 in gloss orange from hexis. didn't feel nor look plasticky to me. have had many people ask who painted the car when i am out driving around. i have an avery sample roll on the way, so that may change my mind. but for now, i like hexis alot. this with some matte...

those yellow ones they sell there are the exact ones i am using. i prewashed the whole bag first and they have been lint free since then. 36 towels for like 10 bucks seemed like a good deal to me.

somebody else suggested stealth shield. also a paint protection film. they have a lexus IS-F that was factory gloss white they did with this and it is a perfect matte white.....hmmmmm.

anyone here ever take a matte clear overlam and wrap a gloss colored car to give it the matte look? reason i ask is customer has a blue vette and wants it the same color but matte. is this possible? guess i could wrap the hood and see what it looked like, just figured i'd check and see if anyone...

hexis has a few metallics also in their hx20000 line and hx30000 line.
