  1. Combine options question

This is Flexi 7.6v2 When I weld, two objects together, the option to "Clear Effects" is missing. The option to clear is there for the other combine options. Also, some ojects don't weld, common or any of the other combine option properly anymore. AT least what I'm not used to. Before this when...
  2. Photoshop for Brochures

Quark and InDesign are geared towards small print layouts like brochures and business cards. I found Quark much easier to use.
  3. Prototype Squeegee Opinion Poll

More parts means more potential for them to break/wear down faster. I don't like the idea of a blade. Potential finger cutting. Getting a few a day makes you want to reduce those. If the hard plastic squeegee part wears down unevenly after a lot of use, the level is rendered useless for...
  4. I am a Font

I guess this place is too serious to not poke fun at fonts. Heh. I can't believe my originals were taken THAT serisously.
  5. I am a Font

Let's get something else going on here besides "Font ID HELP PLZX!" (Yeah OK I asked for help a few times but I can still poke some fun). Inspired by a thread I saw on another forum: Personify/Advertise Your favorite (or least favorite) fonts. subtitle: things are about to get Grotesk
  6. illustrator cut contour

I've always just created a spot color swatch called CutContour and apply it to the path you want cut.
  7. Think customer-provided files are scary now??? Just wait...

I get many files in GIMP versions. Those are scary.

  10. Specific Clip Art piece needed

It's indeed theirs and he said he'll give me it free when I purchase anything else on his site since it's part of a catlogue. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Kenny.
  11. Program: Printing a Font List

Hey that's exactly what I wanted! Thanks a ton.
  12. Program: Printing a Font List

Is there a program that can do all these things: 1. Print a master list 2. Manually sort them by style 3. Manually tag particular fonts within the program with information such as: which client I used that particular font for, what style (I consider) it as, where I found the font, if...
  13. Specific Clip Art piece needed

Thanks Kenny. It does look like theirs but I didn't see it in their online catalog.
  14. Specific Clip Art piece needed

It's a cartoony worker in a hardhat carrying a hammer in one hand and a wood board in the other. It looks like it's definitely part of a set. If you have it for purchase or know where I can purchase it that'd be great.
  15. Flexi Training Academy...

Mark trains you well. His biggest deal is color-correction but I learned quite a bit from a training course.
  16. VersaWorks contour cutting problem

Gino, yeah I did, after every single print and cut it was off alignment exactly the same. I think something's up with the sensor eye.
  17. VersaWorks contour cutting problem

Yeah I did those. Always off by a good 1/16 so I dunno what's up.
  18. VersaWorks contour cutting problem

Oops, it's VersaCamm SP-300V It doesn't align the crop marks properly. Print & Cut work fine but printing and aligning the crop marks throw the contour cut way off. I called my supplier and they're looking into it. Sending them the samples and files that I used to see if it a software issue...
  19. VersaWorks contour cutting problem

What would cause an unaligned contour cut? I export an EPS of some text with a contour cut from Flexi and import into VersaWorks. There's marching ants red outline of the preview. I do a Print and Cut alignment setting. I laminate the print, line up the registration marks on the printer and the...
