any files you created in 8.1 wont open in a lower version of flexi ..so mayby look for another 8.1 or higher version .. now someone may chime on here and say im full of b.s..so if there is a way of opening a higher version built file id sure like to know also.

since you stated you purchased an EDGE from another shop ,i take it they also give you a legal OMEGA program? If you have a legal omega with a dongle,you may be able to purchase a new flexi at a discounted [it was 1600 cheaper when i bought mine] price through a distributor. I had to mail them...

o.k. let me ask ...why are you putting register marks in the drawing in illy? why not import the drawing into flexi ...let the production manager place the marks when it prints ..then the plotter will "see those marks and p.m. will know where to cut ...be the same as something drawn in fllexi...

your flexi manual has all that in there on the steps to print and then take it to the cutter to contour the decals .... if your just cutting a piece of vynle [letters,etc] then just load it ..click "the knife" up on top bar not "the printer" button ..set up the width in p.m. push remote button...
