Just keep it simple. This is what I do:
If more than 60% of the Design is a Picture, then I go RGB to make sure the picture POPS! Otherwise CMYK all the way. The proof is in the RED color. There's no way you'll get a RICH RED in RGB like the one you get CMYK.
Simple.
It all boils down to what software you're using to create the artwork. I use Corel (mostly) nad I've printed wraps that big at 60dpi JPEG and look great. I also agree with "Ski Sign", if you can go vector that's the way to go.
