...and if you want to have a challenge: Go to object>envelope distort>make with mesh. I use 1 row/1 column (as I'm less likely to get confused that way.)
Adjust the nodes and control points until it "looks" right - the challenge. Bill's Plan is easier, but for freestyle designing...
yeaaaaaaah ---
It's been a while since I've played with Corel.
But there's an issue with a node or line direction that is confusing Corel.
Your top object my have an unconnected node.
There's also a way in Corel to define the direction that the shape is drawn. There may be conflicts...
Select the image in question, then from the header menu:

From the Document Info flyout menu choose either Linked Images or Embedded Images depending on how the image was placed.
Thanks for the re-welcome!
I'm going throught the typical frustrations of trying to find product and vendors at the new place. And still trying to figure out Quark (who uses that anymore?)
Fortunately, I was on good terms with the delivery drivers and a couple vendors from the old shop...
...so now I know even less of what I used to know.
I started a new job a couple weeks ago working in a commercial print shop. The shop had bought an HP 8000s inkjet printer a while back to satisfy the specific demands of a manufacturing customer. The customer manufactures motorized vending...
despise, hate, dread... boss got a good deal on it, though.
It was awkward for me to use for large media. There's not a release liner take-up. It seemed like it took too many people to operate. We had to develop some work arounds to get it to do what we wanted involving big tables and a 5' x...
I'll have to look at ours today and figure out what I'm doing or how ours is set up to --- for the most part --- not trip the beam.
As for disabling it, I'm sure there's always a way, but liability issues my arise with use by others.
What thickness are you laminating that you can't keep the material flat?
We haven't had ours that long to run in to any issues... (aside from catastrophic screw-ups that are oooooobviously perpetrated by my co-workers from across the room LOL)
Locking in the blue hold down for thin...

I mean, ummmm, ah... Welcome to the forum!
Yes you did... and I'm still impressed.
Just like practicing your drawing skills, you'll practice pricing until you're comfortable with it. $400 today, $450 next month +++ + +

Good idea with the watermark.
Have you played with the envelope tool yet? "Make with mesh" or "Make with top object?"
I'd use it to distort the "78" to lay it down on the panel and into perspective.
Another trick to give the car some weight and definition is to use thicker strokes on...
I use both everyday. It just depends on which hammer I need, as to my preference day to day.
I adore the elegance of Illustrator. It's simple to me and I prefer it for design and illustration. ...and all the tools work.
Corel is more function oriented for me and I prefer it for diagramming...
Maybe... if you can select the area that you want to affect --- either with the magic wand or drawing tool. It doesn't necessarily need to be very accurate depending on what colors border the gray/blue gradation.
Then try: Image > Adjustments > Replace Color...
A menu will open > with the...
